In 2018 I had a dream to follow my favorite band selling T shirts in the parking lots of stadiums across the country. It is a ritual that was established back in the 70’s where fans would sell their goods before shows to pay their way across the country. Through this I discovered the world of screen printing, and my journey began. I started small with a busted 20 year old press, small dryer, and working out of the warehouse of my 9-5 job late night into the early mornings. As time went on I met some friends who shared a similar vision. We started Dark Star printing January 1st of 2021, and moved into our own warehouse. We invested everything we had into purchasing proper equipment, and literally lived in the warehouse. Over the last few years we were able to grow as printers, taking on some high profile jobs, supplying the local music scene with affordable merchandise, helping fellow artists make turn their artwork into profit. I have taken everything learned from that experience to bring Colorado Springs a new experience in the world of screen printing. Ritual print house aims to be more then just a screen printing shop, we hope to bring community and a space for all creatives to make their dreams a reality.
