Screen Printing
Screen printing is the process of transferring ink to a garment via a mesh screen. Our process involves several steps before we begin the process of printing. Each color requires a process to develop or (burn) an image onto the screen. For each color of the image a new stencil must be made. As one color is printed we must heat up the ink quickly to dry enough to transfer the other colors onto the shirt. This process is called flash drying. Once all colors have been printed we must give the garment a final “cure” which heats the temperature of the ink at prolonged periods of time to ensure the ink STAYS on your garment. After printing and final cure are completed we separate the garments into size piles and package accordingly to make the process of sorting inventory easier.
